Board and Train Program for Pet Dogs
Kawa Farms K9 Training has offered a month-long Board and Train program since 2013. With this program, your dog stays with us at our facility for 4 weeks or more. We make an initial assessment and develop a tailored training program for your dog or puppy. Your dog is trained in all practical situations, inside and outside.
Your dog or puppy is worked around people and other dogs in many different environments. Regular visits are scheduled for you and your family to come in and learn to work under our supervision. These guided training sessions allow you to learn more about canine behavior. We teach you the exact methods we use in training your dog. Working with you ensures the new, positive behavior will transfer to your environment.
Puppy Start Right

- Beginning Basic manners (sit, down, impulse control, recall, and starting loose leash walking)
Canine Life Skills 1 (dogs 6 months or older)

I would never in a million years have thought that we would get our crazy fella Diesel to sit on that stool. This wasn't the exercise Jen had in mind, but it was still a major accomplishment for him.
Before her help, he was an out-of-control dog that took off every time the door opened and was on medication. Yes, I said was. Thanks to Jen, he is no longer medicated. He still likes to take his runs from time to time but comes back when called.
Jen and Taylor, through their positive reinforcement, have given us the opportunity to enjoy our fur buddy. Talli Rose, our new German Shepard puppy, just joined our family, and I look forward to using what I have learned to teach her properly.
